About KOLBY

Adoption Fee: $400.00
German Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

*** EXPERIENCED BREED OWNERS ONLY, PLEASE *** 'KOLBY' is a 2 yr old, extremely handsome, sweet German Shepherd male we rescued from a high kill dog pound. As you can see, he is a 'big silly' who loves his kiddie pool ! Kolby is a very good dog who loves attention. He is very responsive and knows some basic commands. Kolby is praise and treat driven. He loves to play ball, and likes to flinge it around on his own. He loves car rides and to be brushed. Kolby is also very good on a leash. Like most German Shepherds, Kolby is a sensitive soul, so we recommend a breed experienced home with no young children, but has been around children around 11 yrs old. Kolby is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. Kolby is 'light' heartworm positive, and is being treated with the slow kill method, as recommended by the Veterinarian. This rescue does not do it's own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
