About Jade

Hi, my name is Jade and I will be 2 years old in June! I am fully vetted (spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested and received all my vaccinations.) I had a tough start in life and was initially afraid of people but, I've spent many weeks in a loving foster home. I'm a little shy but, I get along with adults, kids (elementary school and up), dogs, and even birds. I am an absolute cuddle bug with a silky coat and velvety soft ears. I'm just as happy to snuggle with you as I am to go for a walk. I am housebroken, crate trained and know how to use a doggie door. During my time with my foster family I have learned to walk on a leash. I also know basic obedience commands (come, sit, stay, -still working on lie down) and I respond to verbal, hand signals, and whistles for those commands. I have also been working on my fitness and endurance level. I typically walk 2 to 4 miles per day. I love hiking in the foot hills with my longest hike being 5 miles.
