About Suki Bear

Suki Bear is a 6-year-old lab/shepherd mix. She is a petite 47 lbs., and was rescued after being tethered multiple times outside. Her owners finally decided to let her go and she was rescued from Pasco County Shelter by Rescue Dogs Dream. Even after all this poor girl has been through, she is still willing to trust humans! Suki is timid at first and needs a slow hand but once she trusts you, she's your friend forever! Her foster mom says she is very sweet, listens very well, is potty trained, up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed. Suki is heartworm positive but has started on treatment for this condition. If you are the lucky one to adopt Suki, she will come with the necessary medicine to properly treat her. Suki LOVES to go on walks and is great on the leash. Because of Suki's past, she needs a family that is home during the day and can give her the love she didn't have before. She would do best with a yard but it isn't necessary. She does need someone that will have patience and love so she can continue to grow and trust humans. Suki loves other dogs with proper introductions and has a dog and a cat in her foster home.
