About Franklin

COMING SOON! Hi! I'm Franklin. I am an approximately 5 year old border collie Australian Shepherd mix. I am SUPER DUPER sweet but was a stray for part of my life, so I can be skittish and timid with people I don't know. I would do best in a more rural or country like setting. Less things to make me worry as I am very timid. I would compliment a few acres nicely While being a stray, I was found with a fractured scapula that is now mostly healed (I feel so much better!!). My foster dad says I have a bright future ahead of me and that I will make the right people SO happy. I am very faithful and loyal once warmed up to you! Franklin's ideal home would be somewhere quiet and where the people can really love on Franklin (as he can be needy and is a total snuggle bug). Franklin is very very timid and a home body but loves car rides and going places with his person. Franklin is good with most dogs but takes time to warm up (no aggression just very standoff'ish but warms up with treats). Franklin would do well with another mellow dog but we think a home with no young children due to his timid nature. We would consider Franklin as a medium to low energy dog for his breed. Franklin is UTD, neutered and microchipped.
