About GEORGY GIRL

Georgy Girl is an Ibizan Hound Mix. She is about 9 months old or so as of May 2021 and was rescued from a cold field in Tennessee when she was about 6 months old. Please read up on the Ibizan Hound breed (AKC or Wikipedia) to get a general sense of their temperament. She's got a mix in her (not sure what), but her predominant breed is Ibizan Hound, making her unique in some ways. She is complimented every day while on her walks!! Georgy is beautiful, super sweet, fun to watch, obedient, playful, crate-trained, easy to groom and maintain, and energetic. She likes to fetch sticks (when in a safe, fenced environment) and she loves her walks! She is awesome at sleeping through the night, and is happy in her crate, on a bed pillow or on the bed with you (which i think is her preference). Adopting her will require a home visit, so local Maryland only. She travels between southern MD and the Eastern Shore often. She definitely needs a fenced yard to play in and I suggest a designated Potty-Break area made with rocks or gravel be created. I think she likes cats, and wants to play with them, but cats dont's seem to like her bounding energy. I have witnessed no issues with her interaction with other dogs being she is a bit timid. Same with adults and children. Kids want to pet her, but Georgy Girl is the tentative one.. She is not at all aggressive. She is spayed and has rabies shot and will need distemper and bordello shots upon adoption. I will also recommend getting her microchipped.
