About Paxton

Paxton is an 8 year old 7 pound male chihuahua who was recently released from a commercial breeding facility. He is looking for a caring and compassionate home that will help build his confidence and understand he is a bit shy when meeting new people. Paxton likes to run and play in the backyard with the other dogs in his foster home, and he likes to roll in the grass and scratch his back. He gets along with the cats in his foster home and enjoys chewing on chew toys. Paxton loves to cuddle with his foster mom. He is doing great with potty training and is learning to walk on a leash so a home with a fenced yard is required. Paxton rides well in a car and would do best in a home with no young children. He has a grade 2 heart murmur and does not require any medications at this time. He recently had a dental and lost 14 teeth. Paxton is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped. We do not ship dogs. If the potential adopter is not within the Lincoln, NE area all family members (two and four legged) must come to Lincoln, NE for the sleepover portion of the adoption process. After a successful sleepover, the adoption can proceed.
