About Tilly

Tilly was able to stretch her legs for a little bit at her photo shoot today after having hip surgery! This girl is making such good progress! She's got about two weeks left of her crate rest and then she can work on getting her strength back. She's also gaining a lot of weight and starting to look like a healthy and happy pup! She's not able to put much weight on her leg quite yet, but she doesn't mind hobbling on her good three legs to sniff for a little bit before going back inside to rest. This girl has the sweetest personality on top of being a gorgeous dog. She's so excited to meet new people and can't wait to play with all the dogs once she's off crate rest. She loves to explore so once her leg is better, hopefully her new owners will have a big backyard for her to run around in. She is fully housed-trained and crate-trained and is all around a wonderful dog. Since she is done with crate rest in two weeks, we'd love to go ahead and start approving adoption applications for Tilly. For anyone who does apply, please keep in mind that she is coming off a major surgery. She'll need to still take it easy after she is adopted and her progress will need to be monitored very closely. Miss Tilly is a shepherd mix, with a beautiful chestnut coat, and she is currently around 55 lbs but she still needs to gain a few more pounds.
