Meet Jewel! Jewel is a dog with a big heart. She is very loving and sweet. She loves people and happiest when she's with her person. She is the queen of the couch. She is a giant couch potato. She would be a perfect dog for someone who likes to stay in and watch movies. This clever girl has simple needs - she wants some tender loving care in return for her affectionate devotion. She loves to take naps and loves to cuddle. Jewel is an American Staffordshire Pittie mix about 2.5 years old and 52 lbs. She is not much of a dog park gal; she is more of a homebody and enjoys the company of people than from other dogs. Jewel would prefer to be your only pet. An experienced adopter and a family with teens and up would be an excellent match for this sweet dog. She can live with a male dog her size or bigger. She would need proper slow introductions. Jewel is an easygoing older girl with a lovely undemanding nature; she is happy to lie by your feet and give you her loving company. She is low maintenance and does not need much exercise. Jewel is looking for a secure home with lots of love and companionship that she can return in favor. She is crate trained. She is up to date on vaccines according to age, has received proper deworming, and comes with additional dewormer if needed. This pet is microchipped, spayed/neutered, comes with 2-6 months of Heartworm preventative, and one month free trial of pet insurance if registered by adopter with insurance company. All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health.) Our transports are USDA certified and the cost of transport is included in adoption fee! She's currently being fostered in Bremerton,WA until she finds the perfect match!
