About Rocky

Rocky, a 7 year old American Pitbull Terrier, had a rough beginning, the victim of abuse. As a puppy, he came into a local shelter with shaved nipples, and shredded ears, the plight of a bait dog. Then, he hit the jackpot, and was adopted by the best Mom ever. You can see how happy they were together for 7 blissful years! Sadly, his Mom suddenly passed away in February, at age 82, and he now needs a new family to love him. Rocky is joyful, playful, and, like so many of his breed, loves all people. He does need to be an only pet, as he was not used to sharing his home with other animals. He walks great on leash and loves car rides. Oh, and did I mention he's an excellent lap dog too, at about 60 pounds? This special boy deserves another break, and a wonderful family to claim as his new forever family.
