About Sissy

Adoption Fee: $150
Jack Russell
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

If you looking for a chill, sweet, cuddly and absolutely adorable pair of senior Jack's, then look no further! Simba and Sissy are a father and daughter bonded pair that found themselves into rescue when their older owner sadly passed away. The family was unable to keep these two, but wanted to help them get a soft landing. And speaking of soft landings...these two are snuggle bugs. They are always snuggled up with each other on the sofa...their favorite place is under blankets and warm...it's a definite plus if a warm human is nearby. Did I mention warm? Simba is only about 12.5 pounds, and is on the leaner side. He doesn't like chilly weather, but does appreciate a cozy sweater or t-shirt. Simba is as laid back as they come, and has zero prey drive. Sissy has a lower drive than most terriers, but has shown some interest in our cat, so I would say that they'd probably do best in a home without cats, small critters, or birds (she likes to chase them outside). These two are absolutely perfect with the 2 Jack's in their foster home and are drama free...yes, you heard that right...NO drama, rarely a bark...half the time they are so quiet I need to make sure they're still in the house. They are perfect with all of our friends too...certainly not guard dogs! They prefer the house, but do enjoy the outdoors and walk well on leash. They are completely housetrained. They aren't crazy about crates, but seriously these 2 are perfectly fine with full run of the hose and zero issues! They are up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and had dentals in March. Dogs are located in North East, MD and will only be adopted as a pair ($300 total). Sissy is 11 and Simba is 12.
