About Wizard (west)

Hi, my name is WIZARD - ID#A4550753. I am a neutered male, black and white American Staffordshire Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 2 months old, and I have been at the shelter since Mar 08, 2021. It's off to see the Wizard! Timid Wizard is a special guy- and where he really shows his magical side is by warming up and winning your heart! One volunteer found him hiding in his kennel, but discovered he was all wiggles when the door opened for walk time. It seems like Wizard might be looking for that extra reassurance. A patient owner will surely go a long way in helping him adjust to the next chapter of his life - a forever home. Wizard has been spending time indoors at the shelter adjusting to more and more people! Wizard should meet any dogs in the home before adoption. He did interact with other dogs in his evaluation and tolerated them and had appropriate interactions. He cannot go to a home with children. While Wizard may not be Mr. Confident yet, he has shown he likes attention by leaning in for affection, enjoying a walk with a buddy and carefully exploring his surroundings.
