About Vigo/Avi

This is sweet and happy Vigo. He's about 2 years old, (but we think somewhat younger) and he was pulled from the shelter because he was found as a stray. People who found him said he was good around their dogs (did not react in shelter either) and played some tag with her teenagers. However, he's been in a foster home and it does appear that he has 'protective' tendencies once he's bonded with his human. Therefore, we think the ideal home may be someone who is home a lot and perhaps older and retired without grandchildren - because of this 'protectiveness'. He will need firm guidance and leadership, and as with all sheps- patience to get them to adjust to their new...world.. He could have been abused in his early years, (he's very submissive on initial meeting) - but, again, love and patience in the right home will help him get out of it. He may need 'leash manners' but,that is easily rectified with trainer or the right adopter. ** An application will be required in order to adopt**
