Courtesy Posting: SWEET BONDED 4 YR OLD BONDED SISTERS NEED A RESCUE/ FOSTER/ADOPTER/PLEDGES TO SAVE THEM MISKA & KODA Tri-County Shelter, Hughsville, MD CALLING ALL RESCUES! This bonded pair need your help! Per the shelter: 'Miska and Koda are two 4 year old sisters that could never dream of being separated! They were surrendered to the shelter after their owner moved out of state. Only nine days after being surrendered to the shelter, we thought they found their forever home! Sadly they were returned to the shelter a couple days later. The adopter was trying to do all the right things and keep them separate from their cat for a slow introduction. Unfortunately they happened to get into the room where their senior cat was, and the cat did not make it. We didn't have any background information on how they were with cats, but we now know they should not go to a home with small animals. Otherwise, these two girls are absolute dreams! They are both housebroken and crate trained. They were around children as young as toddlers. Miska and Koda have a ball with each other and it is so much fun to watch them play! They are such sweethearts that just want to snuggle right next to you in their down time.'
