About Benji

Lemoore, CA (near Fresno) Benji is a gorgeous and engaging three-year-old purebred Bengal Cat. His family loves him but with all of the changes that have been going on, they can see that Benji is not adjusting well to the challenges. They recently moved from a nice-sized home to an Apartment. He loves crinkle balls and fishing wand toys (attached to a human playing with him, of course). He's a huge fan of scrambling up cat towers (he had three, until they downsized to a smaller home). He loves to sit in sunny windows and watch the world go by. He is often referred to as the 'Project Manager' by his family. He loves to be involved in all household activities, however small. He is not afraid of strangers and is always curious to meet new people. Benji is not a match for children under the age of 10. He did live with a friendly Australian shepherd and they got along well (he was re-homed due to the move from a house to an apartment). He hasn't been around other cats. Benji definitely doesn't like to be held or to have his stomach touched, but he will sit next to you on the couch when he wants to be petted. Benji is definitely not a huge fan of nail trims (he's been known to nip during a nail trim). Benji is Neutered, microchipped, and up to date on Vaccinations. He has been experiencing a few litter box issues, and his owners have agreed to get him UTI checked and treated, prior to rehoming him. Lately, he has been excessively vocalizing. More than usual. When Benji visits the Vet to get checked out for a UTI, the owners will mention this, in case there is a medical reason. If not, it's likely due to the changes in the home and the need to keep him separated from the baby at times, so that she can sleep.
