About Nadine

Nadine! Nadine is a happy little Heeler mix that's 1 year old. Nadine is approx 50 lbs and she's EXTRA special. Why? Well, let us tell you. Nadine is deaf. We suspect she experienced some sort of trauma that led to her deafness because she also has a slight head tilt. This led us to having her assessed by a neurologist who diagnosed her with vestibular neuropathy in her left ear. So Nadine gets a little dizzy and wobbly sometimes after she plays hard but most of the time she's cuddly, sweet, and otherwise normal. The doctor said she may develop the neuropathy in her right ear which would essentially then balance her out a bit. Her prognosis is great and she's been cleared for adoption with no further treatment necessary! So, after all that, here's what Nadines foster mom says about her! Nadine's foster mom says she is the sweetest little goofball. She loves cuddling, especially with new people who come over to the house- she is a ham! Nadine is great with meeting dogs too. With that said she'll need a patient home who is willing to work on training a deaf dog who was a stray for most of her life. She is learning the ropes here with 3 other dogs and doing great following their lead. Nadine needs a home with a yard and another resident dog friend to show her the ropes! Adoption fee is $400.
