About Lucas

Hi I'm Lucas! I'm a 2-year-old, male, Great Dane. I lost my family a couple months ago because they said I grew too big. I really loved my family. I had human kids and dog friends to play with. They kept me in a cage a lot and when I got to MHCR I had a really bad case of happy tail and needed to have my tail amputated. It wasn't too fun. I've been through a lot and losing my family was hard on me. I'm really scared I'm going to lose my home again and my foster humans say I have separation anxiety. When they're home, I'm so happy. But when they leave, I get scared and sometimes tear things up. I don't love my crate, but I tolerate it a little bit. I'm looking for a home where my humans are home all the time.
