Your mission, should you accept it, is to HELP DASH FIND A HOME He has been at the Burlington County Animal Shelter, NJ for 8 MONTHS. Surrendered because of his owners situation, he has PAID a great price. Who is ready to get this guy out of this shelter so he can be the pup he used to be? Look how much fun you can have together. If you know of Rescue that is able to pull, think of how his future would change and and ask them to contact the shelterDash's surrender sheet says he loves affection, but he's kind of a spazz in the meet and greet room and doesn't show that side, so one one gives him a chance to show this. Kind of like a first date when you dont know how to be yourself. I mean he's really well trained but he doesn't show that way in his kennel. Many dogs get over excited when they have to spend so much time locked up. The pup I adopted, after a year confined, a kennel crazed pup that no one would adopted and he turned out to be this calm, gentle soul that has made my life grand. He has some quirks like they all have. He doesn't react to smaller/medium dogs when they walk by him in the shelter, but definitely reacts to larger dogs walking by him. Because of his size and energy we are recommending a home with no young children. A home with teenagers may be fine, so bring them along to the meet. He seems extremely well trained. He really doesn't pull on the lead, knows all basic commands, etc. He loves affection, especially butt scratches. Though the video says a dog meet, he would need a couple of weeks to decompress so would need an understanding person to help him with no other dogs or cats.
