About Mika

We are courtesy listing this awesome dog for her family who are looking to rehome her because she isn't getting along with the other dogs in the family. Mika is an Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix who is house trained and up to date on shots. She would do best as the only pet in the house, because she has a habit of guarding her people from the other dogs she currently lives with. Her person writes: 'She is a big girl, about 120 pounds, and is as sweet as can be (unless the other dogs are around). She does bark a lot at things in the fields and woods etc., can sit, lay, gives paw, walks great on a leash (I was working on heal with her and she was coming along with it nicely), she is learning stay, loves to be brushed and loved on, loves car rides and just being with me, loves the water and snow and could sit in the rain and be perfectly happy! I have a 14 yr old and 10 yr old daughters that she has been good with. Loves them and has never done a thing to make me feel uncomfortable. Because of her size and still being a puppy, I wouldn't recommend her to be around small children, but with more training would be fine in my opinion. She has been around chickens but not many other animals besides my two dogs.'
