About Sweet Potato

Sweet Potato is identical brother to Poundcake (1yr old males). Poundcake is bolder, and came in first. They would both sit quietly on chairs for hours as they became more comfortable indoors. They warmed up quickly with feather toys and face rubs. They came deeper into the house in order to cuddle up to other cats, so they enjoy the company of other cats. Poundcake is more playful and silly and Sweet Potato is more gentle. Both are incredibly tender towards me, and to my delight, would plant little kisses on me. Poundcake was quick to surrender and give up his tummy once I started grooming him, and Sweet Potato likes to be in the lap while groomed, often falling asleep. More than anything they both seem to really crave pressing their faces against mine. While the boys love to be in close proximity to each other, and have been a great comfort to one another as they adjust to being inside, they aren't inseparable. If one is too sleepy to engage, the sibling often is. I'd love for them to stay together, if at all possible, but think they would be fine if split up. They both seem trusting of my little dog, with Poundcake being more curious of him. I think they're getting used to being pampered indoor cats, and seem to be absorbing all the love and comfort that comes their way. The ideal home would be with other cats, and non aggressive dogs. As for children, we are not sure. The adoption fee for both cats together is $200, $125 for one. All cats are at least 8 weeks old at time of adoption, are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies - if at least 16 wks old), and given a starter dose of flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
