About Valen

Meet Valen , a 1 year old lab mix who is looking for a family to call his own! This 50 pound boy is full of puppy-like energy and is ready to find his forever playmates! Valen has not been tested with cats at this time, but he is doing great with the other dogs and kids in his foster home. Valen spends his days rough-housing with the other dogs in the house, cuddling ,exploring outside and chewing on toys ! Valen is very excited to have toys of his own someday soon, and is working hard to learn the difference between what is a toy and what is not. This handsome boy is very smart, already knows how to sit and is working hard to relax in his crate. Although Valen loves cuddles and attention, he is shy and submissive towards humans at first, and will tinkle with nervousness/ excitement. We are working to build confidence and trust and we are already seeing improvement in a short amount of time ! Valen is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick and heart worm preventatives . He is being fostered in Parkville, Maryland until he meets his forever family! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
