About Junee

Meet Junee! Junee is a female Toy Fox Terrier/Chihuahua Mix born on 8/12/17. She is small sized girl weighing approximately 12lbs. Junee is a low energy girl who just wants to hang out with her people or go for a lovely stroll. She is a sensitive but easy going girl. Junee came in as a stray after being mauled by another dog or coyote. She had an infected, large wound that has healed well. She does have a significant scar on her side and can be a bit sensitive to the touch there (although it is mostly mental anticipation). She just needs a gentle approach and she is fine being picked up, pet, bathed, and anything else. Junee has been friendly towards her foster family. She likes to cuddle and will happily lay next to you on the couch. She is a bit shy and timid with new people she is meeting but warms up quickly. She would do best in a home with older children (12+ yrs) who are sensitive and gentle. Junee prefers small dogs or very laid back medium sized dogs (she gets easily intimidated after her traumatic experience). She has done well with cats she has met. She has good manners, is crate trained, and house trained. She is getting used to leash walking and just needs a bit of confidence. Junee is looking for a quiet, easy going family home with not too much commotion but all the pampering, love, and patience she deserves. The adoption fee for Junee is $300. This covers her exam, spay, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip. Junee currently lives in a foster home in Rutherford County, NC.
