About Polly Pocket Pit

Pittie lovers, this one's for you! Introducing 1.5-2 year old Polly Pocket Pit. Polly is an awesome pit mix in a small package. At 43lbs and full of smiles, she's the perfect size. Polly came to us from a 'rescue' that was ordered to close because they were hoarding animals. This sweet girl has lovely manners. She shares toys and food with the other resident doggo with ease. She's crate trained and house trained. Unlike some of her pittie relatives, this gal wouldn't even dream of counter surfing at your place. Polly knows how to sit and is learning some other basic commands. She is food motivated and walks well on a leash. This girl would do best in a home with a large male companion dog who likes to play ruff. Or she could be solo. Polly's favorite things: cuddling, kids, tummy rubs, peanut butter, a fenced yard or a little land for running and playing Polly could do without: cats and other small animals Polly is heartworm positive, but don't worry - the vet says her chest x-rays and liver panels look great. We've caught it early (stage 1) and Polly is going to be just fine. She's already begun her treatment regiment, which we will pay for. We just want to see her in a good home. Polly will be able to continue enjoying walks as she undergoes heartworm treatment but will need to limit playing with other dogs and jogging for now. Polly is in West Chester, PA.
