Meet Honey - short for Honey Badger - the cutest little rabid raccoon to ever grace our rescue. Honey is adorable and beyond lovable; she will not take no to kisses and giving them. She is adamant to give you love. She scurries around when she gets excited (she is only slightly taller than your ankle area). When we say scurry - think of a raccoon searching for food. She is adorable and such a sweetheart. She is also a bit sneaky and a thief when it comes to soft things she can carry around - leave your socks on the floor - they will disappear. She loves treats and believes that everything you eat is hers to eat as well. She can be a bit pesky when food is involved, and if you plan on spending an evening on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and a movie - be ready to share. If you are looking for an adorable dog/raccoon cross this is your girl. She will win your heart with her first flipover in your arms to be held like a baby (yes, swaddling her in a blanket is acceptable to her). Her fur is very soft and is the perfect cuddler. Project Outbound is a multi-state rescue with our headquarters in Texas and adopt our dogs to loving families nationwide. All of our dogs are rescued from the State of Texas and are transported to nationwide for placement in their adoptive families. Our $450 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip and helps cover any transport fees associated should we need to transport your new family member to you in our adoption areas).
