About Wyatt

Sweet Wyatt is looking for his forever home with a family that will take him for fun walks and has time to give him the attention he deserves. He needs a big backyard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy following his nose. Wyatt needs to live inside with his new family and he is happy to snuggle on the couch or in bed with you! He is 80 pounds of pure love and affection but is also very respectful and obedient. He is house trained, kennel trained and knows his basic commands such as 'sit' and 'lay down'. He will lay at your feet, happy just to be near you. He is 6 years young so he has passed that crazy puppy stage. The hound in him is evident when he scents critters to chase such as squirrels and opossums. He has not had exposure to cats so with his love for chasing critters we ask that his new home have no kitties. His exposure to kids has been limited but he has aways been very gentle with the children he has come in contact with. Storms can frighten him as they do with many dogs however a night light helps. His current owner adores him however has made the very difficult decision to look for a home that can provide the attention and space Wyatt needs and deserves.
