About Burton

When we heard Burton's story we could not leave him behind! Burton is 11 years old. He has spent the last five of those years in a boarding kennel at the vet. That means potty breaks on a leash three times a day and the rest of the time he lived in a cage. Now, this is no fault of the vet they did the best they could. You see Burton was caught up in a divorce for five years of his life. That is almost half of his life spent in a kennel, never in a home, never in a bed, never on a lap, never knowing what it meant to be wanted and loved. He is now 11. He is so grateful to take walks, step on the grass, and just be with people inside a house. Burton needs somebody who is going to love him like crazy whatever time he has left. He is in great health with no known medical issues. He's neutered, Up to date on shots and Heartworm Negative. He has plenty of time to give to the right family who wants a senior dog. He is house trained, calm, and very very loving. This is a post to help another rescue.
