About Sophie

Sophie is a 13 year old chihuahua that still has some pep in her step. She loves to be a lap dog as much as possible. She will Netflix and chill all day long. She may react to tall men with a deep voice and also has a poor history with female dogs if they get too close. She has brought our family joy for many years but I cannot keep her in this home any longer due to the fighting between her and her elder sister chichi. We have worked with trainers so I would not recommend anyone attempt to change her behavior at this point. It is clear she just needs to be kept away from other dogs. After years of trying to make the best of our situation, we came to the difficult conclusion that we cannot provide her with the best quality of life and the safety that she deserves. We are seeking to re-home her with someone that has plenty of time for her little snuggles and has NO other dogs. She is crate trained and will gladly snooze while you are out shopping and running errands. She is trained to go outside to potty or will use pee pads and possibly litter. She has a small bladder so will need several trips outside a day. She will sleep all night and most of the day. She could benefit from a dental cleaning in the near future. We love her so much and will be very sad to see her go. We only want what is best for our baby so please do not harass me. I have literally spent a decade trying to get her to coexist with other dogs and suffered mental and physical injury because of my many many many (so many) failed efforts.
