About Scruff McGruff

Meet Scruff McGreff! He is a sweet boy who is guessed to be about 11.5 years old and weighs just 10 lbs. He has cataracts in both of his eyes, so his vision is impaired, but it really doesn't slow him down. He is potty trained, gets along with other dogs, and has been good with dog savvy kids. Sadly, he does suffer from Mitral Valve degeneration so he is currently on 4 different heart medications to help control it. He will need to continue these medications for life and he will need to get follow up xrays about every 6 months. Due to his heart condition the vet did not give him clearance to undergo anesthesia to get neutered and a dental. We are looking for a committed forever home for Scruff where he will be loved and spoiled and continue his necessary medical care. Scruff's adoption donation of $200 help cover the cost of his medical care. Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Adopters must live 1.5 hours driving distance from Romeoville, IL.
