Hobo is a handsome Anatolian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix estimated to be around three years old. He was rescued by a local citizen that witnessed him being dropped off from a car. Hobo didn't seem concerned by his situation and quickly made friends with his new buddy. After spending the night with his rescuer, Hobo was brought to our shelter so we could find him a home. Hobo has a calm loving disposition and is very outgoing. This gentle giant weighs sixty-three pounds and has a heart of gold. Hobo is cooperative, quiet and well behaved at the shelter. He has a charming way of carrying on a conversation though if you ask him a question. It's like a low soft Scooby-Doo mumble. This dog is perfect for anyone that enjoys an active lifestyle. He is happiest when with people and would not enjoy being alone all day. Hobo is a great dog for those that enjoy hiking or outdoor adventure. He needs daily exercise but will settle down nicely once play time is over. He's a good fit for older children simply because of his size. Friendly and social, Hobo does well around other dogs. We have not had him around cats, but can easily test that for you. We don't know if he has been housetrained, but he does keep a clean kennel. A tall secure fence is a must for this big guy as he can easily jump a low one. It's time for this former drifter to put down roots. Are you ready to meet him? Hobo is great choice for anyone looking for a fun-loving friendly companion and pet.
