About Petey

My family and I are so sad to share this, but we need to find our pup Petey a new home. He lives with my mom and her 76 year old roommate in Rancho Palos Verdes, and needs a home where he can go on lots of walks and get more exercise. He's a 9 year old chihuahua / Italian greyhound mix. He LOVES running at the park, he's super friendly around other small dogs, and he LOVES to cuddle. He's potty trained, has all of his shots, and is just a wonderful dog. He has been such a blessing to our family! But we know he will be much happier and better off with someone who can take better care of him. Some more info on Petey: Petey is good around kids. To be honest he doesn't give much attention to them, lol. He'll match the high energy of kids if they like to play at the park and throw the tennis ball. He's house-trained! But not crate trained. We have a doggy door and he knows how to use it. He has high energy when he's on a walk / at the park, but takes naps all day lol. He will totally get along in an apartment. He lived with me for a bit in my duplex and handled it great. He does not need a yard. I'm not sure about getting along with cats, as we've never had one. But he does chase squirrels/raccoons/opossums away from my mom's garden. He's neutered and is up to date with all of his shots (I will give you the records) He's currently on a monthly flea medication pill, I will give you the rest of his pack (I believe there are 4 pills left) We are going to ask for a rehoming fee to make sure that Petey goes to a safe home. I will help coordinate a seamless transition to his new home, and help my mom out. Do you know anyone who is looking for a dog? So grateful for all of the help!
