About Chico

My name is Chico, and I'm one handsome Chihuahua aren't I? I am 8 pounds and 9 years old. I came into rescue because my momma passed away and the nice folks caring for me couldn't afford my medical care. You see I'm diabetic, but very well regulated and I'm healthy! I do need to have a meal every 12 hours and get a shot of insulin after my meals. I hate my shots, but my foster momma has mastered a technique that works for me and she will teach my forever family how to do it too! I'm a confident chi boy that loves care rides, walks, and snuggling. I am also a typical chi and can be possessive of my person. I just need a little guidance and redirecting when I growl. My foster family has found the right routine and way to handle me and they would be happy to share the easy way to handle me and my quirks. Won't you be my forever family?
