About Gizelle

Can you believe this girl is one of the top 5 longest residents of the shelter? Gizelle was brought in Dec 2020 and has spent the past 125 days living in a kennel. This lady is 5 years old, but has plenty of life left in her! She needs a home ASAP or the shelter may put her down because she is becoming stressed and anxious in her kennel. German Shepherds are working dogs! They can't just sit in a cage all day! When she was first found on the streets, she was fighting with another dog over scraps they were eating and accidently bit the�%A0hand of the officer. We can still see her ribs! Gizelle is all legs, but only 60lbs. The shelter called her owners from her microchip and they said she LOVES squeaky toys, is scared of car rides, likes to sleep in their bed and couch, but they didn't want to come get her back. This girl didn't do anything wrong! The shelter requires a home with no other pets, children over 12, and for the whole family to come meet her!
