HELEN Unique beauty Helen is special for many reasons. A one year old catahoula mix, she is what is called a 'double merle'. This condition is responsible for her gorgeous coat and icy blue eyes, and as a result of it she has complete hearing loss in both ears. She is initially wary of new people but warms up into a superbly happy, playful and affectionate girl as soon as she feels comfortable. She: Is 45 pounds Is housetrained with the occasional accident Is wonderful with other dogs Would enjoy older children who could be mindful of her condition Walks nicely in a harness, but will pull when she sees a new friend to meet Rides well in a vehicle Is high energy Helen has proved to be very intelligent and has already learned hand signals for sit and down! She adores the people in her life, enjoys her doggy friends with reckless abandon and will pour love into her forever family. She has fully won our hearts and given the chance will certainly capture yours!
