About Ambush - Declawed

'Hi there! My name is Ambush, but you can call me Amy. I am a 2 year old, declawed kitty that came to SVASC when my owners decided that they had a few too many animals. So now here I am.... and I'm going to be honest, I hate it here. I was really hoping that some kind human might be interested in taking a gal like me home? Okay, so here's the thing about me. I am declawed and that seems to have made me a bit... feisty. Add on top of that the normal stress of being at a shelter and you have a recipe for a cranky and testy kitty. I will almost definitely settle down once I'm in a home where I feel safe. I will need a really special someone who can break through to me and get to know me for who I can be. I am a nervous kitty, who is known to lash out when I'm scared and there's nothing wrong with that. I know that my purrfect someone is out there somewhere. You may have already guessed, but I would really do best in a quiet, calmer home. I have never lived with kids and given how ferocious that I can sometimes act, I would do best in a home with only adults. In my previous home, I did live with cats and dogs and I hated every second of it. In fact, I preferred to stay huddled up in my own little room. Ideally, my forever home would have no other pets. Do you think that we could make that happen? I know that I'm asking a lot, but I really think that I could be someone's bff if I just had the right home.
