About Bane

Bane is a 140 lbs pure breed Perro de Presa Canario, and is 7 years old. He has been very well taken care of; however, his home situation has changed where he cannot get the attention he has been accustomed to and needs. With the introduction of two children under two into the home, it is no longer a safe environment for everyone in the household. Bane loves belly, ear, neck, and back rubs, pretty much any physical contact. Taking short or long walks are the highlight of his day, or just playing with someone in the backyard, but he does not like being alone outside for long periods of time. He is attention motivated and works best with a strong pack leader to set boundaries. Bane is house/crate trained and can handle being in a comfy place for an extended period of time. Bane is very loving and often is content to just lean or lay by your side. Bane is very intelligent and has a strong drive and endurance that requires mental stimulation to be satisfied. Bane would be most successful as the only pet in the home. ***Resource guards, requires someone familiar with food/toy aggression and a home where both Bane and his human can successfully manage the environment.***
