About Xena

Xena is truly a once in a lifetime most awesome Rottie ever! I have personally been in the rescue world for over 23 years....and I know it once I come across a very special dog. Xena is one of those dogs! How she ended up in rescue, well no fault of her own. The person that 'found' Xena, and had her a couple of years, went to jail and we rescued her when a family member contacted us. She is 3 years old and 98 lbs. Not a very tall dog, but built like a tank...and her weight is all lean working weight. Not an overweight dog. Xena loves her people, toys and helping you in the yard. Car rides are the best! As well as long walks. Xena is not dog aggressive, but she is dominant with other dogs. So unfortunately, only a home with no pets is required. Otherwise, you would not be reading about this dog right now as I would have definitely adopted her myself! Alas, I have 3 little Chihuahua's and their safety is #1. Xena is crate trained and house trained. She is not an escape artist or fence jumper. She is content with her domain. We have had her spayed and fully vetted. She did have heartworms, but has been treated for them and is good to go! Ready for adoption now. YES WE CAN ADOPT OUT OF STATE. You must adopt in person.
