About Iris

Adoptable 'Iris' this girl is AMAZING ���%A4��ժ Besides having the most STUNNING eyes, she has the BEST personality! Iris is dog, cat, chicken and kid friendly!!! Iris has a sad story but her coming to SSBR is the best part. Almost 2 years ago, after a hurricane, SSBR's founder was patrolling the streets in Louisiana where she came across a freshly run over puppy in the road and sweet Iris who at the time was just a pup. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY. She picked her up and brought her to the shelter where her owners came to claim her, claiming someone took their puppy. Nope, your puppy was just running in the middle of the road and 'someone' saved her life! Fast forward to now, she was left abandoned at the shelter. No care in the world by her once 'family'. We are so happy to finally welcome her to SSBR and assure her she's reached the best of her life. Iris will be fully vetted soon and will be available for her very best forever.
