About Buggins and Miah

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. Sir Buggins is a 9 year old pug mix. Don't let the sad face fool you, he has a lot of energy and is happy to be a total jerk with resource guarding and being bossy with other dogs, but it's generally just noise. He's a bit of a bull in a china shop and he loves tiny tennis balls. (Not kidding) He's also a love 'Bug' and is bonded with his sister from another mister, Miss Miah. Miah is a 12 year old Lhasa Poodle mix who is super easygoing and great with all animals; she's quiet and stoic, but her soul is deep. She loves to be around her person or people. She Loves cats! So much so that she sneaks upstairs for kitty roka and cat food. Both pups are in good health and are super easy keepers. Potty trained, crate trained, and good recall. Fenced yard would be best for this pair, and someone who is home and able to spend time with them outside and on the couch would be great. Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
