About Frankie

Hi! This sweet boy is Frankie, and he is estimated to be between 1-2 years old. He was brought to the animal clinic I work at by Animal Control due to biting someone and nobody claiming him to take responsibility. We were requested to decapitate him and send his head off for rabies testing by the person he bit. Due to missed procedures by animal control we were able to quarantine him for the needed time and he was clearly rabies free but did have an injured toe, was not neutered, and needed some obvious TLC. He is feline leukemia negative, heartworm Negative, and FIV negative. Now Neutered and up to date on all vaccinations and his toe is healed! :) He does not spray, but has VERY high energy. He LOVES to wrestle, loves treats, and wants to follow his chosen person around. He would be great as an only cat, or with a female kitten who can be more submissive... he is VERY alpha. He is fearless and runs up to dogs. He seems to like some puppies but swats and hisses at others. He needs somebody who can be patient with him, and understand he has not had the best past and is learning everyday how to communicate his dislikes better. He does still bite - however he does does not draw blood. More of a warning bite. He makes a lot of improvement everyday, and I know he will be an amazing companion for the right person!!
