I am a 3 year old or so, petite, Border Collie mix (maybe with some Heeler?) that came to SVASC as a stray. This place kind of sucks, though (no offense to the staff) and I would like to get outta here. What do you say? I am a happy-go-lucky, friendly pup that would really like to find my family; I know that they're out there somewhere. At about 3 years old, I am past my puppy stage, but am not planning on slowing down anytime soon. It's that Border Collie in me, I guess. Anyways, I do have an amazing 'off-switch' and know when to play and when to chill out. I think that I would be a wonderful friend that is looking for an energetic, athletic pup, without having to worry that I'll eat your curtains out of boredom if we miss a walk. Speak of walks, I love to go for walkies! I would be an amazing fit for someone that enjoys going for hikes; plus, I'm totally aesthetically pleasing and would really jazz up your Instagram photos. I may not have ever lived in a home before; SVASC doesn't know if I have ever lived indoors, but I am smart as a whip and should pick up on house-training in a flash. I can be a little picky about my dog friends because I am something called 'leash reactive' which means that I get really vocal and excited when I see other dogs; other dogs just don't seem to like me much because of that. I do well with very slow, managed intros though! I should do okay in a home with older kiddos, too! My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter.
