About Penny

Meet Penny Please look at beautiful Penny! She is a 6 years old Pitbull, about 50 lbs. Penny lived in a shelter and was rescued the day before her timestamp. She was placed in a foster home. Penny adjusted quickly. She was nervous, but also interested in being petted and meeting family. She loves kids! And dog friendly! Penny is completely house trained, no accidents. Penny ate and took treats on the first day. Walked well on leash on the first day as well. As long as you are with her she is very happy, loves to play and loves to snuggle. She gets upset when anyone leaves, but does calm down after a few minutes. Penny is medium activity level. She enjoys long walks and playing with toys. She does get very excited when she is comfortable, but she also constantly lies around if you are near. Penny is the sweetest dog - she does get very excited and jump, and she also does not like when people leave her. The ideal family is a family who can spend the time training her (she listens very well and trains quickly), is patient and willing to work with Penny on her anxiety and will keep her well exercised.
