About Murphy

Please excuse the Lion cut but he was terribly matted and we thought it would look funny and cute. His hair will grow back out long and puffy. Murphy is a great little guy. He loves people and kids, does get along with other dogs and cats as well. He prefers dogs his own size and will act like a Boss with bigger boy dogs. A home with smaller dogs would be best but he would do absolutely well being an only dog as well.He is completely crate trained by now but might have here and there a small accident in the house. But he is a very smart cookie and picks up new tricks easy. Murphy came from a terrible neglect background. He has not be abused but been kept only outside with no love from humans. So now he is taking it all in and wants as much love as he can get. IMPORTANT: Murphy tested positive for heartworms and has started his treatment already. He will go through the treatment with flying colors and there is no further damage expected. But due to his treatment he can be adopted out in the Metro Atlanta area only as the treatment is provided by us and he has to return for a follow up.
