About Vienna

Oh Vienna! This gal is very special to us and will take an adopter just as special. We received a call that there was a dog living in the woods that no one could catch as she would act out towards anyone who approached. When we arrived, you could tell she had been living there for some time. She was apprehensive, but came to us for food and allowed a leash to be placed on her. She willingly loaded up and was ready to get out of there! Unfortunately Vienna was microchipped to a creep who claims he sold her after using her for 8 years of breeding - when she was no longer making him a profit, he got rid of her. Because he neglected to care for her, Vienna developed mammary cancer. We had 2 tumors removed and had her spayed. Unfortunately this type of cancer has a high reoccurrence and probability of spreading. Vienna's remaining time may be short, but we know she deserves to have those days filled with love and a home of her own. Chest x-rays and blood work have been done and look great at this time - Vienna has no idea that she had cancerous growths removed or that her time here may be short. She is a happy gal who loves to spend her day in the yard sunbathing. Vienna is 75lbs of muscle who doesn't realize her size. This along with lack of socialization as a young dog requires Vienna to go to an experienced adopter with no other pets or children in the home. She is amazing in the car, is housebroken and loves to do a few zoomies in the yard and then just chill. She really is a great gal for all that she has been through, and we know that although it may be difficult finding a home that fits all her needs, it's not impossible. We're not giving up on Vienna's happily ever after. Is that you?
