About Polenta

Hey I'm Polenta, and I'm a male 3 yo, 45lbs, yellow Lab retriever mix. - I was rescued from a shelter in Texas, when the big storm hit and we all lost power... it was very scary and I'm so thankful for being rescued and brought to sunny California! - I am a very friendly and happy boy and love to give kisses to everyone I meet! I just want to be loved on and cuddled. - I currently have Heartworm disease, which means I have worms living in my heart (i know gross), and I'm on a treatment to fight it. I have finished my first round of treatment and starting my second, meaning everything should be gone by two months time! I will need to be kept calm with minimal exercise until the worms are gone to safely continue my treatment. - I love to go on my walks and I can be very energetic outside, but also chill during the day. - I'm just such a sweetie pie and love to play and hang with you. I will make such a wonderful life companion for my future human and I can't wait to meet them!! If you see me online I am still available for adoption!
