About Momma Emily

Emily is a happy lil nugget. She came into the shelter scared and wary of trusting new people. Sometimes when placed in new situations that overwhelm her, she can still be a lil wary. She loves to eat and will warm up quickly to new friends that give her space and toss some treats. After you are in her circle of trust, you will exist there forever and she will want to be next to you and/or on you at all times. Snuggling is a dog sport she excels in. She has been with 2 other dogs before and does OK. She will guard food and affection from other dogs. So she would need to be paired with a dog that is good at reading social cues so that they would defer to Emily and not cause more conflict. We are unsure how she is with cat. She is a smaller pup, around 30 lbs. Super cute mug. :)
