About Spike loves to cuddle!

Sonny is a mellow boy who loves attention, belly rubs and playing ball. Sonny is a little bit goofy and loves to cuddle. He is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. He had been living with his dad since he was a puppy, and is well behaved and socialized. Sonny is friendly to everyone he meets. Sonny's dad is an older gentleman who had to go into a elderly care facility, and was recently hospitalized. Sonny has known love, and he will wait faithfully and full of doggie hope for his person to come for him. But his person is old and sick now. His person will never come for him, cannot come for him. Without any relatives who could take Sonny, he was taken to a high kill shelter. Like so many dogs, Sonny's time ran out and he was going to be euthanized. We knew we had to save him! Sonny deserved better. He was neutered when he was young. He knows many commands. He's only 4 or 5 yrs old, weighs about 58 lbs, is fully vaccinated and microchipped. If you've been looking for a sweet lovebug of a dog, then Sonny is perfect for you! He has a known history, is well socialized with people and healthy. Sonny is not reactive to other dogs he sees on walks, but would love all the attention at home. He should be the only dog in the home. We're looking for a forever home in the Los Angeles area.
