About Dinky

Jack Russell mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Hi! My name is Dinky. I'm four months old and have spent the past three months in a shelter with my siblings Linky and Rinky - maybe you've met them too. But now I'm ready to find my forever home. That's why we've traveled all the way from Alabama to Pennsylvania. People - humans that is - say I'm very very friendly and enthusiastic. I've loved all the humans I've met in Pennsylvania AND their dogs AND their little humans. Toys are the best, especially the ones with tags I can pull on, but my favorite toy is my leash - or any leash really. I like to grab it in my mouth and lead my foster family around. They finally realized they could take it off and I'd just stay right with them. I weigh 25 pounds right now, but I LOVE to eat so I'll be bigger soon. Since I eat so much, I have to go to the bathroom a lot. In Pennsylvania they make you go outside - even in the rain and on cold mornings and in the dark - yuck, but I'm working on that and doing a great job since I got here. They said I should tell you I'm crate trained and up-to-date on my vaccines, AND that I'm a boy dog. Oh, I'm living in Lancaster right now. Hope I'll get to meet you soon We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
