About Butterscotch

Need a little love in your life? Meet Butterscotch! One of eight pups (one of two remaining) this handsome caramel and white lab mix is waiting for his forever family. Weighing in at 21 lbs at 12 weeks, we definitely expect him to be a large boy. While he has met and loved both dogs and kids, we also expect him to do well with cats with proper introductions. Butterscotch is the perfect mix of sweet, snuggly, and playful. He'll make the perfect match into your home. While in foster care for a month, he is practically house and crate trained; just fine tuning. He is working on his leash manners. Butterscotch is current with vaccines and awaiting for your application while in Harrisburg, Pa We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
