TO BE KILLED 04/20/2021 6 Year Old ONYX Is Working on Growing His Confidence (3 A volunteer writes: Onyx is happy to join us on a walk on this blistery day. This shy guy was surrendered to the shelter due to housing issues. We let him walk a bit more than the rest of the dogs because he seems to relish being outside, and we are happy to give him special attention. He has a handsome face with his mushy gray snoot. His white chest looks so dapper against the bowtie he lets us put on. Onyx entertains us with his careful sit and delicate paw giving (he knows how to give both paws!) We cheer on his graceful tricks and praise him with our last bit of chicken we have left. His owner reported he likes to play with all kinds of toys, but his favorite are balls. He enjoys fetch, chase and tug in his yard. We hope to see his playful side next week! Onyx seems like a brave boy and we hope to see his confidence grow in the coming days.
