About Duckee

Duckee should've been named Tigger as she has springs on her feet and quite the jumper. A 4 foot fence probably won't keep her in if she doesn't want to stay so supervision is a must if you don't have a privacy fence and probably a good idea even if you do. We know she is likely a pit bull but she looks like a min pin mixed with a pit bull. Her tail is docked real short and she acts a bit like a min pin with the springs in her feet. She is 10 months old and only weighs 36lbs so if you are looking for a pint sized pit bull she might be your gal. She was dog tested today with several other shelter dogs did great immediately and wanted to play so she seems to be dog friendly. She would likely be good with children as well. We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.
