About Najix

Najix is a 3 year old catahoula/Aussie mix who has lived with my boyfriend and myself since he was a puppy. Due to a multitude of lifestyle changes(career, health, new residence with pet size restrictions), we must find him a new home. He is an incredibly sweet dog, but very demanding of time, attention, and patience. He needs a lot of exercise and ideally land- even better if he could have a vocational purpose such as herding. He is just unfortunately not fit for our lifestyles. He has done well with cats, but does have a herding drive so it really depends on how the cat responds to him. He prefers women to men and is very protective of family. We are unsure of his compatibility with children and strangers as it has been mixed and once again seems to depend on how they respond to him. He is house broken/knows commands and has been neutered and vaccinated although he needs boosters. We will pay to have these and health check done for the right candidate
